Have you ever held an officials position in HiH? If so, how many terms? I've been a club leader for three terms.
How much availability do you have in an average week for performing mod duties? If I'm awake, then I'm online. I spend on average at least 5 hours a day behind a computer, and I'll be able to spend most of that time to mod duties.
Have you participated in this community before? Definitely, I have my own animagus form, I love finding a perfect fit for every applicant and I greatly enjoy participating in the wilderness community.
If there were an argument or conflict regarding the community (someone inappropriately marking the rating or a points dispute, for instance), how would you handle it?
If the argument/complaint is presented reasonable and with proven facts, me and the my fellow mod will discuss it and come with a appropriate solution. If the argument leads to more arguments and is insulting in any way, I'll freeze and screen the tread and talk it over with my fellow mod if taking points is necessary. As long as the member with critique is polite in his or her reasoning I'm very well able to adapt my views and perhaps even amend rules.
What would you like to change or see kept the same?
I'd want to change the way people have to ask the voters to re-post their vote. Often the applicants hardly get the to see the votes and reasoning they're pining for, thus I'd simply copy-paste the votes that were relevant and post them to see. Only some minutes of extra work for the mod and the applicant will (hopefully) find their animagus form with more ease. I'd also would continue the Packmates program and start some activities and games in Wilderness. I'd probably also post a lot more random social posts, since I rather fond to chat with fellow animagi.
Why are you interested in being mod of this community? Curiosity, for one. I'd love to see what's on the inside of the animagus community. My partial love for the community, that can be found back in the great care in which I tend to vote. And that I hope to get the animagus community some well deserved attention!
Do you have any experience with html and graphics creation? I know all the ins and outs of the latest illustrator-photoshop programs, simply because it's a necessity for my Graphic Design study.

Have you ever held an officials position in HiH? If so, how many terms? No, though I am a Club Leader, member of the Order of the Phoenix and a shopkeeper.
How much availability do you have in an average week for performing mod duties? I check on everything daily, so I can always deal with urgent situations right away. I spend an hour or more a day at hih, which I can use for mod duties.
Have you participated in this community before? I have participated in voting in Animagus since I joined the community and love it. I have been participating in Wilderness since I became an animagus a bit later.
If there were an argument or conflict regarding the community (someone inappropriately marking the rating or a points dispute, for instance), how would you handle it? I am a calm but firm mod (I have modded subcomms at other sorting communities for years and have become the go-to mod with questions/problems). I enjoy being as transparent as I can about the rules, points, et cetera. I am willing to listen and hear all of the sides, and in the end I enforce the rules as fairly as I can.
What would you like to change or see kept the same? There is much I love about how Animagus and Wilderness are run. I would definitely want to keep Wilderness open to animagi only. I’d want to keep the voting on applicants anonymous, so that it is the application that is sorted. And I like some of the activities in Wilderness, such as the scavenger hunt.

But there are some changes I would love to make. First, with voting, I would love for all votes to be compiled (anonymously) and posted, perhaps in comment threads on the advice post, so that applicants can see all of their votes and animals suggested, not simply the four chosen. I would have loved to get that, and I know many else who would like that as well.

Further, I would like to keep the animagus list as up to date as possible. I would like to stay in touch with the prefects to know who are still members, and when someone leaves, move them to a ‘retired’ (or similarly named) list. Thus, if they returned, they could keep the animagus form, but until then the form would be open to be used again. That would give voters more options.

In Wilderness, I would like to make more activities revolve around the animagus forms. The activity where people wrote folk tales about their forms is one excellent example. I would make a gift activity, where people made each other graphics (banners, icons, sig tags, etc) with other people’s animagus forms on it. I would also enjoy to make some social non-points posts, where people could interact in animal form. Earlier, teams were made of similar forms, but nothing actually happened with them. And I would enjoy creating some activities with those. For example, a participation only event would be writing a group fic about going out in their animagus forms together and their adventures. For a voting activity, a large set could be made, requiring writing and graphics that would get voted on as a whole. There could also be a harder scavenger hunt that is done as a team. All in all, I want to encourage play so that the form is more than a statement – it’s used and active.

Why are you interested in being mod of this community? I have been interested in this community from before I even applied. The animagus program was one of the reasons I applied to HiH in the first place! I am proud of my animagus form, and I would love to make one of my favorite communities flourish and be a place of fun.

Do you have any experience with html and graphics creation? I have some basic html skills, and I have experience editing previously written html coding. I have a flourish shop here at HiH, and I have been making graphics for many years.

Have you ever held an officials position in HiH? If so, how many terms? I've been a club leader for the past 2 terms
How much availability do you have in an average week for performing mod duties? I'm literally online around 16 hours a day, basically doing nothing. I am available for mod duties pretty much any time. I'm reachable by email, LJ message, AIM, text message, carrier-pigeon, owl post, smoke signals...yeah, I'm really easy to get in touch with. :) And I have lots of time to donate to HiH.
Have you participated in this community before? I am an Animagus, and I have voted on animagus applications. I have also participated in monthly activities since I became an Animagus.
If there were an argument or conflict regarding the community (someone inappropriately marking the rating or a points dispute, for instance), how would you handle it? I'm a firm believer in taking a step back and a 24 hour break before confronting an issue. (That being said, I haven't always stuck to that belief, but that doesn't stop me from believing it. :P ) I'm a straightforward, honest person, and I use that during conflict resolution. I am good at keeping calm and trying to see both sides of the issue, and I always strive to reach a happy medium for everyone involved. I also am not too proud to seek additional help if I think I can't handle a situation objectively.
What would you like to change or see kept the same? I absolutely love the scavenger hunts we have every month, so I would love to continue those. Ing and Kai have been phenomenal mods this term, so I would like to keep most of the ideas that they had. I would also like to add more graphic activities, as well as more activities that promote interaction with all of the animagi, including continuing the Packmate program.
Why are you interested in being mod of this community? This past term, I got to witness how well Kai and Ing worked together as co-mods. They were a united front, and they seemed to claim an equal part of the work between them. I admired that about them, and it really inspired me to want to be a part of this community.
Do you have any experience with html and graphics creation? I am a whiz at html, and I am more than capable at graphics creation. :)

Have you ever held an officials position in HiH? If so, how many terms?yes about 3 terms
How much availability do you have in an average week for performing mod duties?25+ hours a week
Have you participated in this community before? yes I try to vote whenever I can and I'm also a registered animagus
If there were an argument or conflict regarding the community (someone inappropriately marking the rating or a points dispute, for instance), how would you handle it?I would confer with my co-mod and try to get to the bottom of what happened and then either explain why the points or whatever was correct or fix it. I would also handle things in private.
What would you like to change or see kept the same? I think the community runs great as is although I might like to see some of the members who have been gone for over 8 months be removed from the list to free up some animals. I also love the idea of the wilderness scavenger hunt. I think they'd be a blast to come up with.
Why are you interested in being mod of this community?I think it's fun. I've been thinking about it for awhile now and I think it would be interesting to say the least. :)
Do you have any experience with html and graphics creation?yes with both. I code html very well and could be called the code guru and I make graphics often

Have you ever held an officials position in HiH? If so, how many terms? Yes - Prefect for two terms and Animagus for two terms.
How much availability do you have in an average week for performing mod duties?
A lot. I'm online every day, and even when I'm in class, I'm on my computer and (usually) available to answer questions.

Have you participated in this community before?
Yes, quite extensively. :)

If there were an argument or conflict regarding the community (someone inappropriately marking the rating or a points dispute, for instance), how would you handle it?
Remain calm, be unfailingly polite, and work with the involved parties to resolve the dispute. If it were about points, I would exlain the criteria used and share my calculations, and be open and receptive to criticisms or suggestions for ways to improve. If someone was behaving innappropriately (posting inappropriate content, etc), I would politely but firmly remind them of the community rules and ask them to remove the post or screen the offending comments myself.

What would you like to change or see kept the same?
I would like to see the scavenger hunts become a little more diverse and be posted more regularly, and also see a more regular schedule for activities going up. I'm planning some exciting new ways to utilise the pack/team ideas, and would love to see more team activities and some way to reward team participation (like an award at the end of the month for the most active team, percentage-wise). I'd also love to institute an "Animagus of the Month" program like Insomniacs has, and add a bit more of a roleplaying feel to the community (perhaps add distinguishing markings or other such traits to the roster). The roster is also on the list of things currently being redone and the new design is gorgeous, I promise. :) And finally, I'd like to ace the referral program and replace it with some other way to get bonus points, since it is seldom used.

Why are you interested in being mod of this community?
Animagi are one of my favourite parts of the Harry Potter series, and I really adore animals. This comm is one of my favourite in HiH and it is always lots of fun to participate in and come up with ideas for. :)

Do you have any experience with html and graphics creation?
Yes to both! I've won layout contests at HiH before (including the main one), if that's any indication. ;)
